Sami Issa

Prior to Global AI, Mr. Issa served as Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of W3BCLOUD, a joint venture with Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ: AMD) founded in 2018 as a GPU Cloud Service Provider (GCSP). Before Global AI, Mr. Issa served as Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of W3BCLOUD, a joint venture with Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ: AMD) founded in 2018 as a GPU Cloud Service Provider (GCSP). He grew W3BCLOUD to over 160,000 GPUs across seven tier III data centers and $40M in revenues while leading a $1.25B deSPAC process. Prior to that, Mr. Issa founded an AI joint venture between Mubadala Development Company and IBM (NYSE: IBM) in 2015 and served as its CEO for 3 years. In 2008, Mr. Issa joined Mubadala to help build GlobalFoundries, now a $30B public company (NASDAQ: GFS). Prior to Mubadala, Mr. Issa spent over 15 years in the semiconductor industry with Intel Corporation, Broadcom Inc., Texas Instruments Incorporated, and National Semiconductor. Mr. Issa holds over 30 patents, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on electronics, from Cairo University.
